Come on guys.?? Let's go.?? We don't talk to his kind anyway.?? We're too good for that. :stubborn:??
Sorry, just got a kick out of the "click" reference.?? It's actually clique, but we don't need to argue that.??

I have had both a 65 coupe and my current 69 fastback, there is no comparison, the 65 is much cheaper and I think every part for that car is available, that is not the case with my 69.
But I love my 69 so every penny is worth it!

Oh boy, I can see this is going to be a fun place. You sure you want someone like me around here after all Blake? I think you are going to have your hands full as it is.
Remember folks not all models are created equally within the manufacturer year. Please thumb thru your catalogs and find me some 69' convertible hardware would ya, like some new dowel pins and hooks?????? How about some new sunvisor brackets too and a header bar? Oh and some of the hockey stick rear chrome trim molding? All repro's please, I can't afford that spiffy NOS stuff at Paddocks.
There that should give anyone who chimes in with a Nuh unh but has not had the priviledge of trying to restore one themself busy for a while.
I think I can say with little fear of being wrong that unless you are trying to restore a 71-73 Moosestang, that you can't proceed to tell us 69' owners we have nothing substantial to cry about. B)

Unless I'm mistaken, there was only one person stating that it WASN'T more expensive to restore a 69-70.

Actually, with the ****'s that are MCA changing the rules to disallow reproduction parts, there is little point in restoring a concours car anymore, so it would cost that much less to do a 69-70 now that I am not hunting down bolts with the right markings.

Can you please confirm where you heard this? I've never heard that reproduction parts were not acceptable in concours driven classes.

I think you'd have to add the Mustang II restorers out there to this list
(All 7 of them...)

make that 8, well i previously restored one anyway. got totalled by a flatbed that ran a stop sign, i was on my way to get new tires after having it mostly complete other than some minor interior work
