This drop-top "King of the Road" has been reigning over a storage container since 1978.

I have no intentions of selling the Shelby, and I really need to make the car a higher priority and either get it running or totally restore it.
Aka, totally restore it. That thing is in pretty bad shape. Critters have gotten in it. That CJ is going to need to be pulled apart in every way due to the rust inside it. The transmission isn't going to like having been stuck in that thing either. Also, the cracked header panel makes me sad.

Dude. Seriously, what were you thinking?! I mean, any car, not just this car!

I'll never understand how the, "Well, I will park it for now and restore it someday" mindset manages to avoid the inevitable conclusion statement. . .

"In the meantime, I will store it in uncontrolled conditions, where moisture, temperature, mold, mildew, rust, rot, insects and animals can have their way with it. That'll make the restoration so much easier."

All of that is carefully hidden away in the word "someday". That is why "someday" never made it onto the calendar.
