JUST saw this thread.

I've been wanting one of these forever! Glad to see someone actually did it! congrats man!

However, this does confirm what was holding me back. That will not fit under the hood! I really like the way my car looks, and anything I do I want to be sure fits under the hood, so a Paxton centri (old cobra style) may be in my future.

Mine may look a little misleading because it's a Windsor + adaptor plates + two carb spacers to mount my demon carb on the blower. If there was no need to space the carb, and you used this on a 302 with a drop base filter I'm confidant you could get by with a small cowl or something of that nature.

The woman who sold me the adaptor plates when she heard what I was doing she was like "good luck, you have no idea how many of these things I see that don't get finished"

Well it is finished! My wallet too lol

Yeah I've got a stock hood that is doomed to be cut.

I do all my mechanic work but I dont know the next thing about bodywork. Cash is limited and I know I will have more fun with more power than with a coat of paint. I may start saving for some body work this summer.

I'm actually going to school to get a job teaching English in Japan, and when I head to Japan I'm giving the car to my dad while I'm away for probably around 5 years. I'm sort of hoping that while I'm away my dad will get sick of looking at primer lol

I will take some pictures after I have a hood cut. I still don't know what filter I'll be going with.

Wow! That is so awesome! That would look so badass on a small block! And how many pounds are these blowers capable of out of the box?

I'm not entirely sure but definitely more than I need

I want to keep it pretty conservative at around 9. But thats all still a ways away haha.

also bodywork isn't as hard as you think it is. If I can do it you can do it
