1967 Mustang = Roadworthy

Just got the Mustang a temporary license, took it out to get some ice cream for a victory ride. I would call this operation a success. Also, look at the plate. 2302 = 302 V8, and that was totally by accident!

The ride went flawless, besides two things. The alternator does not seem to be charging the system enough. When we started it up after ice cream, it took two tries because of the starter not engaging the flywheel. The second was some occasional rubbing in the wheel wells, but I'd say it was pretty good for not having the front end aligned! No, the side pipes did not drag, but we will have to stay away from speed bumps! The suspension was really tight and bumpy, but we did install a rear sway bar, a beefier front sway bar and full torque boxes, so we really have no room to complain!

They are Boyd Coddingtons that we found for a steal on craigslist. Not sure of the exact model, but they are 16x8's.
