Well.....Not the stock ones....but systems that are made for them....the Borla Stingers perferably. Do you think if I used the Borla mufflers, I could get the same sound, or would I need more that just the mufflers....any chance this would work? I have a feeling I would be able too keep my low rumble, and then add some grumble/gurgling with the mufflers....Just throwing ideas around...

They're both close in displacement too. Just one thing... why not a kit for your year?

Considering the displacement, compression, induction system, valvetrain are all different, no, I don't think it would work. Sure, a 2.5" H-pipe (or X... *shudders*) and Borla mufflers would fit, but there's too many variables. It might be close, but I doubt it.

 

it would really depend on the size of the mufflers adn where the pipes align on the muffler if it would fit before the axle like a 65 mustangs mufflers are.
