A 435 HP 4.6-liter V8 motor powers this Mustang Roush 428R, which was recently sold via Cars & Bids.

The prices of pre-owned cars are currently skyrocketing because of the supply chain issues caused by the ongoing pandemic. Doug DeMuro’s popular car auction platform Cars & Bids recently sold a 2008 Ford Mustang Roush 428R coupe for just $21,250.

The Example we have here is the #27 car of the 200 units that were built. This 2008 Ford Mustang Roush 428R flaunts a beautiful red and black paint job. The pièce de résistance of the front end is the Roush supercharged hood scoop. The fifth-generation Ford Mustang made its world debut back in 2015. A new vehicle architecture with an extended wheelbase underpins this generation of Ford’s iconic pony car.

Under the hood of this rare sports car, we find a 4.6-liter V8 powerplant. This modular motor could churn out 435 HP of maximum power and 400 lb-ft of peak torque in its factory tune. This particular example uses a 5-speed manual gearbox to send the power to the rear wheels. Ford introduced the S197 Mustang with a heritage-laced design. A24 valve V8 motor was also available, and the production of the fifth-gen Mustang ended in 2014.
