I don't care if it's number 1 or not. A hair under $100k is nuts.

I must be nuts... Having numero uno means a lot to some people. It would mean a lot to me frankly. Imagine having a very established garage of seriously expensive cars. Then imagine being 16 in 1969 and not being able to drive a Boss 302! You bet your **** that having number 1 in your garage is worth the hundo. I think it's important to remember that acquiring wealth makes it harder and harder to find a car that really "gets you going" so to speak. There are times in life where "value" means something other than getting a good deal.

Not bad, buy a used Boss for i'm guessing 38k and sell it for 98k. I hope you pull it off, that would be a great payday.

Given the fact there are a quite a few of MP, PP and the like out there for the price of a used Boss it's going to be hard to pull off.

Agreed, absolutely fracking ridiculous to be asking for a 200% markup on a 1-yr old car, regardless of the fact that it was car #001.

While the Boss and is a cool special edition car, the 2012/13 Boss isn't regarded as that 'special' quite yet... Maybe in 10-20 years depending on market demand and how history regards this car in future, maybe the value will go up and bring 200% or more.

If anyone is currently willing to buy this car for that amount, I fear it could be from some fool that has more money than sense, and as such, could suffer from an early death instead of being in the hands of a collector where it belongs for others to enjoy in 50 years.

If I was the owner, I be reaching out to Jay Leno, or other well known car collectors before this car gets purchased by someone who doesn't care what #001 means for the future.

Leather Wrap Steering Wheel
Power Drivers Seat
Power Lumbar Driver Seat

The leather wrapped wheel is a trick question.

Like Getportfolio said, the steering wheel def looks alcontera, and I didn't think the 13's had BLIS, and I don't know of any Boss that came stock with power seats. I do like the defense earlier saying that money makes you buy a garage queen. Whole old money vs. new money thing. Plus for that price you could buy a 302S an track the thing.

$99k? That's silly. I could have a mint 1970 Boss for less then that.

Thats an insanely high price man. GLWS but like someone said above, get in contact with big car collectors who truly value the car and production number before some unlucky nut buys and wrecks it trying to show off.
In the meantime, ill look for a 69 fastback to fit in my garage

I hope it sells for the asking price. it can only help the value for the rest of the Boss owners out there.

For what its worth , the first production stingray of 2014 sold for $1.1 Million at auction. People will pay for what they want. Might not be in a hurry to sell it and waiting for the right person to come along. Especially if its in Ypsi, which if you've been to the area, doesn't hold a lot of deep pockets. Though Ann Arbor does.

Didn't it sell at Barrett Jackson, which is a charity auction, if so that's just a huge tax write off.
