Great photos. Thanks!
Still not feeling the car's new design at all though.

Great pics Pete and Steve! I'm looking forward to seeing it in person so I can finally make an objective evaluation. I guess all of the comments posted here and over at 6G confirm what I already knew. That being that you can't buy a car or a house online just looking at pictures. You need to see it in person to make a proper evaluation.

Honestly...when you see it in person.. it looks way better than in the pictures.
I really wanted to write a big breakdown on my experience in seeing it, butI've been so busy at work and home lately, I just haven't had the time.
The Front:
I don't see any fusion in it, regardless of how close the grill shape maybe. The whole front end comes together to make it look different and aggressive. It looks more of a cross between the current front end nose cone and the shapes used in the kinetic language. It translates VERY well in person.
The Side:
The side of the car is VERY sleek and good looking. As much as I love the hockey stick, it doesn't look missing on this car. If it was added it might lookout of place, and take away from the profile and the lines that travel up into the haunches/hips, which by the way look dynamite. Not in a way the Camaro does with its hard edges/lines. This is more flowing and curvy. More of a fastback looks than any of the 05+ mustangs.
The Rear:
The rear of this car .... wow... just wow. You will NOT be mistaking this car for anything else on the road. IN a good way. It is one of the most unique features on the car. It rakes a bit more than I thought it would, but that isn't a bad thing. The lights are mesmerizing. I'm seeing a trend with the uniqueness and beauty in the lights that Ford has been putting on the Mustanglately. The 13-14s are hard to beat for their overall package, but these arelike red hot glowing jewels. The diffuser painted and separated by the black portion looks better on other colours than the red, but it's not a dealbreaker. The black does really break up the back and makes it look more aggressive than one solid colour all the way down.
Overall this car, you REALLY need to see it to appreciate it’s beauty and personality.
I know some people will not like it, that's just reality.
To me it’s like seeing someone that’s really attractive in a picture, onlyto realize how even more awesome they are when you talk to them and see their personality.
THIS IS A MUSTANG through and through.
All of Ford's teams have done a great job, and the future is bright for this car.

Thanks for the write up, I think it gets lost sometimes how modern designs with significantly more curvature in the panels can not translate well to 2D images. I think the car looks great in photos. really excited to see it in person

Great photos, is it the lighting that makes the car look orange-ish? That's my only beef with the color. As far as the overall car I think they NAILED it, lower, wider, no faux chrome gas caps, tacked on scoops or wings. Rear of the car is my favorite part, has some Mustang fastback, porsche and even Ferrari look to it....love the tri bar tailights and the GT badge, as well as the pony logo on the V6.....Maybe I'd tweak the rear spoiler/ducktail look slightly, but thats a minor quibble. Other than that maybe tweak the 5.0 badge to make it fit the more modern look, is the 5.0 badge identical to existing car or has it changed slightly (and is it identical to the Fox 5.0?) Thats my only complaints, and I am nitpicking.
Ford has been steadily improving the looks of the non GT model and this is no exception, the V6 or turbo4 looks almost as gorgeous....
I predict ford sells a **** ton of these cars.

God, it better! This is the actual car, not a prototype or concept right, I assume everything we see is at least an option.
Did anyone notice the video of the startup/rev going around the entire diffuser/area is red? Also looks sweet (though I like the contrast with the matte black on edges)....Wonder if thats an option or like Sysnister is saying its all just a tease.

I thought that I've seen some other pictures of the GT with the heat extractors in the hood. I don't see them on this car. Those are some of the best pictures I've seen so far of this car.
This car is steadily growing on me and when it does come out for sale, I may regret not waiting for it.
