Ford Racing Recaros installed - pics & review
Thanks to a dealer buddy of mine (owns something like 16 dealerships in a major metropolitan area) I was able to get my Ford Racing Recaro seats at dealer cost. Which really isn't a huge discount compared to what some of the retailers are selling these for, but still, a discount is a discount. On to the pics and review:

Summary of my thoughts:
The Recaros are very high quality seats, which you should expect since they are Recaro. The alcantara suede inserts really give the seats a bit more of an "upscale" feel than if they were 100% cloth. But even the cloth itself is a very nice quality with great feel.
The bolstering is fantastic. These are the best reclining seats I have used. I'd guess that to get more support you'd need to step up to a full bucket seat. I am 6'0 245 lbs and these seats fit me very well. A little snug, which is good, but very comfortable. They really hold me in place during hard cornering which allows me to focus more on driving rather than trying to hold myself in place on the pathetic stockers! Because you aren't slip-sliding away on the stock seats you get a much better feel for the car with these seats. You feel more in control.
I couldn't be happier. They are pricey, at around $2500-shipped retail, but I think they are worth every penny.

Remember they are plug & play with no need to purchase new seat rails. They also come with side airbags which may or may not be important to you. As a street driven car 99% of the time it's very important to me. And then of course you get Recaro quality. I considered the Corbeau seats briefly, but I just don't find their quality acceptable for my standards.

The lowest I have seen it retail is $2499 shipped from CJ Pony Parts. Well worth it, IMO, considering you're getting Recaro quality, plug-and-play installation, and side air bags.

At first I didn't want to get rid of the leather but now I'm glad I did. If the seats were all cloth maybe I'd feel otherwise but the alcantara is great. I'm a sucker for alcantara.
