2011 MCA + Performance Package

I finally got my car today after 10 weeks of waiting. Mods so far, billet antenna from BBR & Hoen's xenomatch fog light bulbs.

Looks awesome and I wish i had the PP wheels.

That being said, for sterling grey i really loved the MCA wheels since they were body colored.

Looks very nice!!! I can't wait until the regular V-6 owners can order the engine cover.

Should be able to order one for your car from the dealer.

Yeah, can't get away without the front plate in Texas anymore either, and the state legislature just re-inforced the front plate law too.

I told my salesman that I didn't want any sticker and not to put the front license plate on. I'll find a way to put it on without drilling the front bumper. The first thing he does when the cars is off the truck is to put a sticker on the car that reads "No Sticker and Do Not Install Front License Plate Bracket". He tells the shop manager and service department manager also. That didn't work He said that he original plan was to put the sticker on the bumper itself but he was afraid it would have come off because it was raining that day.

I wasn't upset because to be honest I really don't care much. At the end of the day I still need a front license plate so whether is on or below the bumper it will still look ugly. Good thing I'm not very **** about those things.

The strut tower brace is the same as the 2010 GT so it's been available all along.

Thanks for the complements everybody. Believe me even I was amazed the first time I saw at the dealer. I couldn't believe this was my car and all my friends can stop talking about it. The combination of the billet grill, HID, fog lamps, the black PP wheels and sterling gray is just amazing. The only mod I feel I need right away is window tint. Hopefully I can have done this weekend or early next week.

I know everybody wants a driving impression. The problem is that I've not been able to drive the car very hard yet or very far. Everybody I go is either heavy traffic or some old fart driving slow in front of me. I'm also need some time to get used to driving standard again (has been over 10+ years). Need to get comfortable with the car before I start taking hard turns and such. I'll however give you guys some preliminary observations.

1. Don't find the Performance Package very rough like I was afraid it would be especially with this car having a SRA and low profile tires on 19" wheels. Don't expect Lexus/Cadillac like smoothness but is definitely not unforgiving like other cars out there.

2. Even with the performance package I still think the car could used some better shocks and perhaps stiffer springs. At least for my tastes. Next year I'm planing to lower it about an 1" and get adjustable shocks.

3. The wheels are awesome!!! Is the first thing complements I get from friends and other people. It definitely looks good with Sterling Gray.

4. The shifter feels a little bit rubberish and notchy which I wasn't expecting given must reviewer commented how good the shifter is. However my friends tells me that is normal for a brand new car and is gets better with time. It does feel better every time I drive it.

5. So glad I got the electronic package. Get it if you can afford it.

6. Love the premium black interior and the mostly vinyl leather seats don't look or feel to cheap. Is nice having real aluminum trim accent instead the cheap plastic imitation that I hate on other cars.

That is all for now.

Just order one for a 2010 G.T. The arch is high enough to clear the engine cover when they become available.

Your PP Mustang looks very nice.

The car looks awesome. SG w/ the 19s is just lovely glad you are enjoying it. How do you like the exhaust note?

Love the performance of the new 3.7 but home come Ford couldn't make it look better? The 5.0 with engine cover looks great. How come the air intake is coming over the right side and not the front?

The engine needs to look better appearance wise.
