Brembo Wheel Got Scratched

Well not paying attention while parking and of course got my first "curb rash" on one of my new Brembo wheels. (No pic at this time).

It is a small scratch at the edge of the wheel and although small - it really bothers me because I know it's there.

I believe these are painted wheels - so is it as simple as trying to find touch paint to fix the scratch? Or do I actually need to replace the wheel? Hopefully there is a matching touch up paint I can use to hide the mark.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had a 3 inch rash on mine, took it to a shop that does custom work, cost was $120 to fix it. it'll never be 100% but it's a healthy 95-98% and unless I pointed it out to someone, they'd never know it was a fix. So if you can find place near you who does that sort of work, it's worth looking into.

I believe they just sand it down, buff it to a smooth finish, and touch it up. Or something of the like.

2 of my rims have rash on them, and i didnt do it, pointed them out to the dealer about a week after delivery, they ordered new ones.. waiting for them to arrive.. there is no scrtching or other signs of anything touching the tires only rim damage.

There are wheel re-finishing shops that can make it look like brand new.

If it is just a small scratch I would just find some paint that is close and touch it up and be done with it.

You know that if you already curb'd it this soon after getting the car that it is likely to happen again so no point in re-finishing the wheel every time unless you just have lots of $$$ to throw away.

Kindof makes you wonder why they don't have front and side cameras as optional equipment.

Thanks for link. I was "googling" some shops in Calgary and I saw that one as well. Was just wondering if I could do it myself - but since I'm not handy with cars/paint what so ever, I will pay someone to do it

Thanks again.
