Cams sound like stock idle

I have a 2008 Mustang Gt with Detroit Rockers . Does anybody know if a tune can set the sound of a cam? the idle speed is set at the same rpm then before and after I programed a different tune ,they seem to have no lopey idle at all and before they sounded just great, any ideas?

Nah not on those years. 2005-2011(I believe) are SOHC so you can't. 2012+ are DOHC and those can use a tune to adjust cans.

You are thinking of the fake "ghost cam" tune (the 5.0 DOHC was rolled out in 2011... ). Detroit Rockers are REAL cams that dial in more overlap - they are not just phony tunes.

Why did you change tunes? Did you get the tune from Brenspeed - who designed the custom "Detroit Rocker" cams?
The higher idle you go the less lope you are going to hear at idle.
Call Brenspeed...

When you changed from the "Street" to "Race" tune, were the tunes received at the same time? Perhaps the race tune isn't set up for the cams?

If it's on Youtube, I think you can just use "[you tube]insert-your-video-link-here[/you tube]", but leave out the space in youtube.
