Here are my 2 II's:
My Blue '78 Mustang II Ghia:
Attachment 7917 Attachment 7919 Attachment 7918 Attachment 7922
I've owned the blue II since 1979 and it currently has over 200,000 miles on her - over 100,000 on a new engine. (blew a connecting rod in 2000 )
And my Brown Metallic '78 Mustang II Ghia:
Attachment 7920 Attachment 7921
I've owned the brown II since last July and it has 54,000 original miles on her. And yes, that is my blue II on the left of her.

I put up some pics on the first gen. forum but after I found this I figured I'd better do it here too.
This is my 77 drag car. It's still apart but doesn't need much to finish. Hopefully I can get back to it soon and get it back on the track. The engine is out of it right now but it's a 351W based block that will be stroked to 393. In street trim it ran low 12's with the stock 351, dished pistons and TF heads. Now it's back halved, tubbed, narrowed 9", 4 link, built C4, and the future engine build. Hopefully I'll get it in the 10's.
This is a pic on the strip when it was still street legal.

Thanks!
It USED to run in the low 12's when it was a street car. Now I have no idea, I'm hoping for maybe 10's when it's back together. I don't have any numbers on it, the engine is still apart and realistically after it's built I probably won't dyno it, it'll just go straight to the track.

I haven't got any pictures anymore, but I've had 4 IIs.
78 hatch - 4 cyl auto, light blue
76 Cobra II - 6 cyl manual, white w/ blue stripes
76 Cobra II - 8 cyl auto, blue w/ wite stripes
78 Cobra II - 8 cyl auto, black t-top
The t-top was my last, and I miss it. When I have a garage of my own, I will be on the hunt for my fifth II.
