Eaton and Edelbrock Unveil 785-Horsepower Restomod
Anytime you get two powerhouses the likes of Eaton and Edelbrock teaming up on a custom Mustang for SEMA, you just know it’s going to be special.
Take, for example, this 2016 SEMA restomod Fastback known as Vapor, which features a classic gray and black paint scheme.
Sure, renderings never really capture the true essence of a show car. But this restomod Mustang was built by the award-winning RoadsterShop, so we’re certain it’s a must-see.
Under the hood, the Vapor showcases Edelbrock’s newest and most powerful E-Force supercharged Ford 5.0-liter Coyote crate engine, which cranks out 785 hp and 660 lb-ft of torque, according to Aftermarket News.
The restomod also features Eaton’s Detroit Truetrac 5-pinion rear end, designed specifically to handle the kind of high-horsepower performance applications needed for a car like Vapor.
