Driver Abandons Flipped Mustang

I’m no investigator, but my gut tells me that whoever was driving this abandoned, upside-down Mustang in Tulsa, Oklahoma was either highly intoxicated or a car thief. Or maybe both.

Police say it appears the Mustang went off the road, struck a mailbox near a house, and then flipped over before the driver fled the scene. Officers didn’t find any signs of any alcoholic beverages in the car, but that certainly doesn’t mean alcohol or drugs weren’t a factor.

Fortunately, nobody else was hurt due to the accident, although I’m betting the owner of the Mustang is suffering from a mad case of the nervous jitters right now.

Either way, the owner should be one of the first people police question, and chances are if the story doesn’t add up, they’re going to face some pretty hefty charges for reckless driving and fleeing the scene of an accident.
