We all know the story of how Reeses first came up with the idea of mixing chocolate and peanut butter, but how did this Camaro owner decide to mix his 4th Gen Chevy with a C5 Corvette and an S197 Mustang of all things? This “hot rod” is truly an exercise in understanding how the best laid plans often go awry.

There isn’t much known about this car, as it was originally posted to this Facebook page with the caption “What the…”, but it’s pretty obvious that this car started life as a 4th Generation F-body Chevrolet Camaro. With all of these modifications done presumably to increase the performance and looks of the car, one might even imagine the car to be based on a 3.4-liter V6 powered iteration. This is the ultimate car for someone who doesn’t know how to make an engine produce more power, but took a class on how to do custom bodywork at their local community college.

Perhaps it’s best to not poke fun at this build, as someone has clearly spent a lot of time, effort, and money making this car into what it is today. The Camaro has a grafted-on Mustang front end and a C5 Corvette rear section. Though their purpose has evaded me thus far. But as noted by Jalopnik, perhaps the Corvette crossed flags emblem on the Mustang hood is the best/most ironic part.

As Jeff Goldblum says in the best movie of all time, Jurassic Park: “Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
