Motor Trend Captures History of Mustang vs Camaro Rivalry

There probably isn’t a car rivalry bigger than that of the Chevy Camaro versus the Ford Mustang.

In fact, there aren’t many matchups outside the world of automobiles that compare to the longstanding battle waged between the two American pony cars. Be it sales numbers or respective owners simply arguing about which car is hotter, it all might come down to a matter of personal opinion.

That is, unless you’re a regular here at The Mustang Source, where the Ford Pony car always reigns supreme, regardless of what others think.

A recent Motor Trend story, however, recently took a more objective look at the history of the Camaro and Mustang rivalry. It’s a great little post, with photographs capturing the evolution of the cars over the past 50 years. Even if you can’t bear to look at a Camaro, it’s still a pretty cool tribute to American muscle and the spirit of competition.
