Just seeing a beautiful new Mustang on its roof hurts us to the core, so we can only imagine how the owner of this 2015 Mustang GT must have felt when he was hit by an alleged drunk driver, just eight days after taking delivery of the car, back when it looked liked this…

Fortunately, the owner only suffered minor injuries, as highlighted in a CarScoops.com report. Well, at least physically. Because it’s probably going to take some time to get over the emotional stress of having his brand new Mustang looking like this…

At least it wasn’t his fault, but that probably isn’t much consolation right now. What is consoling, though, is the durability the new Mustang showed after getting hit at highway speeds.
