Extended warranty

My 2014 V6 convertible has 30,000 miles on it. Today I picked it up from the Ford service department having had the lower control arms replaced for the second time. I'm worried about the LCAs or other issues developing after the warrantee is over. What are the thoughts on the Ford premium warranty plan? Worth it?

Just my 2 cents, I have extended warranties (Ford premium) on all four vehicles. The good niews is I have them, the bad news is that I have needed them. Example: just had the instrument cluster replaced on an 06 Freestar. Cost was $50 deductible. Was told the repair would have cost over $1000.

I extended the warranty on my Mustang to get the extra three years coverage. I only have 8000 miles on it but given the problems people seem to have with them I thought it was worth the money.

If you are interested, google lombardi ford. You can get lots of information on the different levels of Ford warranties and cost of each for your vehicle. For me it has given me "Peace of Mind". Of course I let Ford maintain my vehicles for most things.

Good Luck..
