Welcome to the forum and congrats on your S-197. I'm new to Mustang Source myself. I've found a huge bunch of sharp gearheads who are happy to share their experience, both mistakes and victories. My car is an '06 GT 5 speed that I bought a couple of months ago and have gotten busy with handling and performance mods.
Like you, I'm after 4.10 gears. I just bought an SCT X4 tuner and lifetime tunes from Steeda along with their CAI. I'll be losing my cats and putting on an off road x pipe and some axle backs next week. As a life long car nut and home mechanic I'm just loving all the latitude for functional mods on this platform. I've owned cool cars from a Lotus Elan to a BMW Z4-M.......this Mustang is my favorite, hands down.

she's a beauty! welcome aboard. I swapped over to 4.10 gears myself. get the whole kit done including bearings if you do. I love the higher rpms. i had mine tuned as well at same time.
