Homemade Rear seat delete
So I've had the rear seat removed for almost a year and never really did much to make it look decent.
I've seen the kits advertised for $150 and up and figured I could make one just as well for little of nothing.
I bought the fabric at Michael's crafts for $8. The spray glue, panels and caps were all purchased at Home Depot for less than $30. In total it was about $40 or less. I had it built and installed in less than two hours.

Looking good, Easy and Fast! Rear seats are not that heavy, so this delete is just for looks?
Also, I am more curious about the red LED light on the bottom on the center console? What is that for?

The four-point rollbar will have to wait, although I will have one in the future. I'm a little tapped on money after purchasing Corbeau racing seat, harness, bracket for seat and harness bar.
The harness bar should stiffen up the body some. Installing on Wednesday!

The light is still currently illuminated on the dash and on the overhead console. I guess it hasn't bothered me enough to pursue pulling the fuse. I thought when I pulled the seatbelt out that it would eliminate that light. Apparently the airbag and seatbelt lights are tied in together.

Apparently there is a jumper that can be purchased or made oneself to eliminate the light. Also the passenger wieght sensor can be transfered to the new seats. That is what i will probably do when i do the seat swap. If it is really just a fuse that needs pulling i would rather do that than mess with sensors and jumpers. Nice job on the rear seat delete. Sorry for the hijack.

For now I have completely removed the passenger seat. I'll probably end up installing the same as my driver seat, the Corbeau fx1 pro.
I would be more satisfied if the airbag light were off though...

All you need is a 2-ohm resistor across the airbag connector terminals to fool the system into thinking there is an airbag there. That way you can eliminate the airbag in the seat without triggering the warning light. You also keep the remaining airbags functional - unlike removing the fuse.
