Swapping to Roush AB from GT500 AB + upcoming mods!!
im trading another 5.0 owner straight up for their Roush mufflers for my GT500 mufflers. Figure i want to try out the loud obnoxious sound for a while
after the mufflers i plan on getting
MRT Quad O/R H-Pipe
AED Lopey Idle Tune
BMR (UCA w/mount, LCAs, Panhard Bar)
FRPP T Springs
GT500 wing
FRPP World Challenge Splitter
Silver Horse Quarter panel Louvers
small misc underhood enhancements, some chrome pieces, air brushed engine blanket to a galloping pony leaving fire tracks!!

It's going to be L O U D.
I have the roush and cat delete. At first it was what I thought I wanted. I now want something alittle more quiter.
When you remove those cats it becomes a whole new ballgame with sound.
Also the extra HP you pick up.
Enjoy

I would put back the GT500 Ab. I have read that your combination is really loud. I just installed the GT 500 Ab and love them. Loud when I get on it same loudness as the Gt mufflers when I am cruising at speed. They get even louder when I use my track key. Track key and GT 500 Ab is the best combination.

No sound clips. Hell I dont even know how to post pictures.
But if your looking for a good sounding exhaust note the Roush will do that.
When you remove those cats it takes the noise level to Holly Chit level. I enjoy the extra HP that removing the cats give you. But after a year of hearing my Boss being this loud, it has become a little to much. But there are other parts that I want so I live with it. If you want just the sound go with the roush. If you want extra HP and a deeper sound..remove the cats.
If I were to do it again. I would of removed the cats first to see if the tone was loud enough. All I can say is removing the cats makes a huge difference in sound and about 15-20hp.
good luck in your choice.

I agree. The Roush ABs are plenty loud on their own. I love mine, sweet tone and pretty loud but not being "too loud." I DD mine in the summer and they are easy to live with on the commute and freaking loud when you get on it. I do agree if you are worried about being too loud do one mod at a time until you are at a point at which you are comfortable with the noise.
Just my two cents.
