Best replacement tires?
I am sure this has been talked about many times, but I am at 15k miles and will probably need some new tires in the near future. I would like something similar to the originals, but something affordable too. I am not against putting on new rear tires and then a few months later, new fronts to spread the cost out. If I do not track my Boss, but like the grip of the original tires, what would be a good choice?

Cooper Zeons or GoodYear GT's there new ones. Both are really good non race tires. Alot of people on this form have alos liked the Zeons. f you shop around you can find them at a great price.

Not sure how they'd price for your size wheels but I've got BFGoodrick G-Forces on my GT. Great tire, good traction, pretty decent life (30k on this set), and a killer tread pattern. Pretty reasonable price point too.

Ditto exactly. I bought my Boss used with them on (I think they were brand new at the time) and I love them. I guess the dealer didn't know they were staggered wheels, so they put the rear size tires on all four corners... Looks awesome! It's not a more noticeable bulge than the back but looks way better than stock size up front. Plus, they don't ride bad at all. I've yet to track mine but I wouldn't be concerned for mild track use. It really does look mean. So, yeah, G-Force fan right here.

I would recommend the BFG Sport-Comp 2 as a stock replacement. These tires perform very well,(maybe better than KDW because stiffer sidewall) especially for the price. Also, they will have a longer life than the KDW.
BTW a couple things you may want to know about the KDW.
1. It does not come in a 255/40/19...so you would be forced to run that 285 in a square configuration.
2. I am pretty sure BFG is phasing that tire out. So what ever you manage to find will probably be old rubber.
If you want to spend KDW money buy Hankook RS3 v2. you can get 275 front & 305 rear for less money and these are arguably the best street tire on the market from a performance standpoint.

I don't have much of a suggestion on tires but I can say find your best price then go to discount tire. They have taken care of me for years now beyond what I think they should. Check out discounttire direct also but still go to the store for the tires.
They match or beat anyone's pricing

I'm curious to revive it for a little while, I am currently looking at PSS's but didn't know if there is something better for the aggressive street while still being comfortable. I liked the PZeros for 10k miles or so, then they became loud and the rears are slick with 3 or 4/32nds left

Although I believe the Michelin Super Sports are considered the benchmark they do tend to be pricey. You may want to check out the Toyo T1 Sports I can get them locally for around $800.00 installed inc tax and from what I read it's a quality tire.
