Question DRL question???

Okay guys. I bought a 2015 Ecoboost Premium back in December and I love, love, love the car. However I hate the DRLs. I always have. And I've searched and searched on here but can't find an answer. Can anyone tell me how I can disconnect my daytime running lights? I know the owners manual tells how to (if equipped....) but mine doesn't give me the option. Don't get me wrong I love the design of the lights, I just hate that they stay on all the time. To me it just looks like you forgot to turn your lights off. So if anyone knows how to disconnect them that would be awesome.

I thought DRLs were a fleet option?

He's talking about the gill lights, in the US they consider those DRLs. In Canada it actually uses the Fog lights as the DRLs (though the Gill lights exist too).

And, as far as I know, there is no way to disconnect outside of modifying/cutting the harness wiring somehow. I've seen a lot of people talk about, but none brave enough to perform the surgery yet.
