Picture request - 2013 Puddle Light Mirror
Hi ..
WOuld a 2013 owner be nice enough to take a picture of the underside of their side mirror?
Specifically what the Puddle Light insert looks like. Ford diagrams make it seem it's just a round insert that plugs into bottom of mirror.
Thanks!!!!

Good Luck with that!! I was thinking about replacing the mirror on my 2011 with the puddle lamps one, but if retro-fit is an option, would love to see the outcome of your work

I am hoping they use same voltage as dome light. Will be piece of cake if they do .
Replacing the entire mirror is $$$ and ford goes not sell only the mirror housing that I can find.

Yes. That's the plan. The seam lines on my 2012 are a little different but the area where the light mounts is the same. I was told at least a week before parts are scheduled off back order.

The lights are $57 each from Tousley ... no need to for entire mirror unless you want to try and wire the new heated glass ... which I would have NO IDEA how to wire ..

Simple relay to the rear defroster circuit.
Thought about doing it for mine, but since mine will not longer be a winter car, no need to.

so what did u order exactly? the bottom half? even without heat component u still need to hook it up somewhere to make it work
