Shelby Razors - $768 (closeout)
Hey yall, in my quest to find decently priced, American made, 20" wheels, I came across the Razors on Tirerack...$768 for the staggered set on closeout. The sh*tty part is "American Racing" cast wheels are made in China now, but it seems like ALL cast aluminum wheels are, so that may or may not matter to you. Either way, I always liked these wheels and figured someone may be interested. That is still an amazing deal!

that's pretty crazy!
at the end of the day, if you the rims don't grossly weigh more than stock and won't crack on you from hitting a few pot holes, meh - buy from the lowest bidder!

LOL!
really though... at the end of the day, those 4k rims could still have been from china lol. but at least the vendors are being honest with you which is cool.

I would be all over this if they fit on the Stangs with the Brembo brakes. I love the look of the Shelby Razors, it was that or the Boss 338s that I wanted, but neither of them clear the brakes.

The Razors absolutely 100% clear the Brembos. They were designed for GT500s at first...and I haven't tried it, but I would guess that the 338s (which I've also been eye balling, and have always loved) would fit the Brembos with a 1/4" spacer...

Then american muscle started selling vossen at or around the same price as the vossen website and that's when I first heard of HRE. But $800 per rim?! That's insane isn't it?

Start doing some research on TUV and JWL certifications, and you'll find out why HREs are so expensive.
BBS, OZ, Rays Engineering, Work, Wedsport, Forgeline and HRE. These are essentially the top wheel manufacturers in the world. The $800/wheel "Flow Formed" HREs are their entry level sets.
It is insane, but it's the price you pay for CERTIFIED quality and durability. It's a shame that is what drives the prices of those wheels that high.

The Razors listed on American Muscle says they do not clear big brake kits and I think I read somewhere the older Razors do, but the ones they are selling now do not.

Very strange. Now that you mentioned that, it kinda sounds familiar to me (though these wheels did come up when I did a search of my car with Brembos as an option), and I seem to remember the originals being 20x9 in front...I need to go back and check now, but I think these were 20x8.5...I wonder if that's it. Still, I'm sure a 1/4" spacer would allow the tolerance.

Nope, 20x9 and 20x10. Still came up for my car again, but I remember guys running the 6p Baer Shelby brakes up front with these too...

I'm not anymore. There's no point. I'm not at a point in my life where I can spend $4k plus on JUST wheels.
The better question should be...why are you and everyone else in America, NOT limiting yourself to wheels made here?

As to the wheel itself you posted, what's the offsets for the fronts and rears??? I want to know how wide a tire they can fit on either. It's all about the offsets.
