Well late last Night I was backing into the driveway and, while usually super careful, I bumped into the cobble stone edging. I try to get very close to keep it out of the way. I though I bumped it enough as to just hit the tire, I didnt rub the stone. However after inspection, boom, nice chip/rash on my BLACK RTRs. And it's a flippin white mark about 1/4" long. I'm ma as hell.
So, any remedies?!? Touch ups, etc??

I did the same thing to my painted wheels. It was ugly. There's a place called Alloy Wheel Repair that's a mobile shop. They fixed my wheels and I couldn't even tell there was ever a problem.

Edit:
It also wasn't very expensive.

Thanks for the recommendation. They came to you? Was it about $100? I know there's a wheel guy around that does it but I think he's a $100 Minimum.

Used these guys as well when I scuffed one of my Brembo's. Can't even see the repair. Mine was $132.00.

I had to drive a short distance to them, but it wasn't a problem. It was 100 dollars for the fix. Your Alloy Wheel guy might come straight to you though. I think it depends on their schedules.

I have some primal need to hug curbs so I have road rash on at least three wheels. Was going to find a place to clean them up, but now I'm trading in so don't care anymore. Will keep these guys in mind for the future, though; thanks.

I have a easy fix, drive with some real rubber around your rims instead of that silly rubber band business ya'll got going on. lol, I joke.
Every time I hit a curb all I get are tire scrapes, that's why I refuse to switch away from my stock 17 inch rims.
Seriously though, I would just call the mobile guys suggested and have the professionals fix you up. Just think of it as a $100 lesson in parking. haha I just got a 600 dollar lesson in it, so your better off than I am.

OP I did the same thing with one of my RTR's too. They sure are fragile. I only lightly rubbed one on a curb and the silver finish came right off.

Ouch. Well, now I feel better since u have the same issue. Misery lives company! Lol I thought I was gonna be the only one with rash lol.
I don't think I'd pay $100 for my little 1/4" nick. Even for a decent amount. I'd probably buy a new wheel for 200 once it got bad enough. Although then add mount and balance cost..

I wonder if my comprehensive coverage would cover it since I have a $0 deductible. I don't think it would, but something I'll look into.

When I bought my car they offered that To me and I said, "well I'm gonna get aftermarket wheels" and he said Ooo no problem, it covers those also.
Although I had a raised eyebrow about that.

The price was a dealership offer for OEM wheels, but some road hazard insurance policies cover aftermarket as well. Unfortunately I don't have any specific recommendations, just check around for a good road hazard insurance.
Use it once and it pays for itself.

yep from the factory. shipped and delivered.. unfortunatly i didnt notice until 3 days later when i was washing it.. brought it back to the dealer.. showed them the damage the sales manager took pictures of the rim, and others (that were not damaged), even tho i had pictures of the car sitting in the dealers lot with ALL the stickers and shipping labels on it the day i picked it up, with the damage clearly seen on the rim.. after a year of going back and forth and having to bring my car back 6 times for them "loosing" the pictures they took, and the sales manager saying " i have no idea what your talking about ", i finally said screw it, and refused to give them any work on my car, nor do choose to deal with them in the future purchases..
