DONE! I think, for now-pics inside
hey,
Here is my 08 GT, I have had it for one year now and think I am done with the mods.
First picture is my inspiration from the TMS photo gallery archives. I didn't try and match exactly, meaning scoops and all but just the general idea. I just love this 67 GT and had to pay tribute.
https://themustangsource.com/gallery...?i=12667&c=119 I can't copy the picture, but follow the link, you will get the idea

Interesting mix of mods that work surprisingly well together.
Nice!
Need to do something w/ that front plate though. Have you seen/considered the flip up plate available from Moss Mustang?

Thanks for the compliments guys.
I agree the mirror's need some love, I am thinking the body colored caps. And front plate really sucks. I will look into that flippy floppy thingy.
I should also mention that ALL the aftermarket stuff was purchased from members of TMS, both listed here in classifieds or on my local craigslist. Very Cool.

I think I agree...have you thought about a white chin spoiler? (On the other hand, who cares what anybody else thinks about your car right? ) Great looking car though, the Bullitt grille makes it look so clean!

That locale looks familiar, I'm thinking maybe Cherry Creek Reservoir??
Looking good! Only thing I would do is paint the outer quadrants of the chin spoiler white, they always look good that way.

that is actually off of Surrey Ridge road, just north of Castle Rock. I agree I like the GT/CS front spoiler and also the all bodycolor spoilers. When I get the sat radio ant and spoiler holes plugged and painted I will re-visit the spoiler. Although I think having it all black is more a retro look.
I am also on the fence about the wheels. I got them for a good price and like the look, but I would really prefer a set of Anthracite Deepdish bullits. there are tons of cars running the bullits, but they are so **** nice!

When you say your done, you mean you're temporarily out of funding for mods.
These things are NEVER done. I just waxed mine today and am preparing to store it. It has changed a bunch since 2008 and I was "done".
I put the pic in for reference of the white lower chin and Agent 47 mirrors. My goal was more 1966 GT350R, but the mirrors are really a '67 and newer touch and would make a nice addition to your mods.
