Well it's obvious why there aren't many. I suppose the cars were big hits at the time, but yikes! I personally don't like them.

HEY!! If it weren't for the II's, we wouldn't have anything after them -- including this forum and the '05!! I know a lot of people dis the II's and they really need to stop. They were the right car for the right time. I've had mine since '79, and I still can make a Vette blow smoke to get in front of me. It's a good laugh anyway. During the late 70's and early 80's, I was able to outrun other Vette's. So unless you have owned one, or driven one, you don't know what you are talking about. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and has their own likes and dislikes, but ENOUGH of bashing the II please! :nono:

I wish I still had my 78 I bought new. I think it would be rare today. 78 Mach 1 302 4 speed red with a white interior, T-Tops all the spoilers. What a nice car. Have never found that comb since mine.

Hi, I'm new here and wanted to show y'all my II. It's a 78 King Cobra, all original with only 29,000 miles.
I have some pics here

King Cobra

The track pic is at Charlotte Speedway during the 35th anniversary show in 99.

We also have a 90 GT, 83 GLX 5.0, and some trucks

Yep, that's my King on the cover of the Jan 2003 Mustang Monthly. Editor Jeff Ford stopped to talk with us at a show in Lakeland FL. He asked if I'd be interested in an article and pics for the magazine. The cover & article are here:
