Zero to 60 Designs limited GTT cars should draw a lot of stares when they hit the road.

Per usual, Ford brought the goods to the L.A. Auto Show.

When it became clear that Ford was going to put a high-output, racing-derived version of its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 in its next GT, many citizens of the interwebs were livid. Greater fuel efficiency and increased power be damned, the V8 diehards hated the Blue Oval’s change in power plants.

Could the dream of a future Shelby GT500 rocketed by a 700-horsepower Coyote V8 find itself replaced with the reality of a GT500 equipped with a twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V-6?

The interior features a dashboard from a ’90s Mustang, under the hood sits a Ford GT engine, while the body certainly appears to be a ‘70s Fastback Mustang with a few GT badges planted about.

The Detroit Auto Show rolled around, and there she was: the all-new 2016 GT. Except it seems like Ford built the wrong car. She had the right looks, but all the wrong guts. Especially since the GT350 has the greatest collection of racecar parts imaginable.
