A few of us are putting together a cruise down to Nags Head on March 27th. Everyone to meet up at the Sears Parking lot in Greenbriar Mall @ 8 AM and depart around 9AM. Cruise down to Hooters in Kitty Hawk for lunch and maybe for a mini car show and then head back. Any questions shoot me a message.

Spoke with the Manager @ Hooters in NC to make some arrangements for parking (he stated plenty of parking)and discounts on food. I have to call him back early March to go over more details. I'll keep everyone posted.

Dang..... I'm right in Moyock, NC but wont have my car until May or so. Just ordered my 2011 GT. Maybe next time.

 

Ok guys, with a little over a week to go for the Cruise we just wanted to go over some details with everyone. There are 90 plus vehicles and thanks to everyone for passing the word and moving things along. This is a family event as well and kids will be there so everyone please keep that in mind. The rain date will be on Saturday April 10th. Everyone is responsible for his or her own expenses, Gas, Tolls, Lunch, etc. There is a $2 toll each way on the 168 bypass so don’t forget to bring some cash. Hooters will be giving a 15% discount on all food and beverages. For parking, we have the entire Hooters lot and there is a grassy area behind Hooters that may hold 8 to 10 cars. The Manager stated he will provide some sort of ramps to go over the curb for the cars. There is a vacant lot (old business) to the right facing Hooters and we can park there. To the left of Hooters there is a CPA Firm and we have permission to park there after 1 pm.
*** PLEASE DO NOT PARK THERE BEFORE 1 PM OR YOUR VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED***. For those who plan on staying late and are UFC fans, Hooters will be showing UFC 111 @ 10 pm. Great card that night with Two Title matches. ST-PIERRE vs. HARDY and MIR vs. CARWIN. This is going to be a great time, looking forward to seeing all the badass rides and meeting everyone. Get your vehicles detailed and see you at Greenbrier!!

Right now they are talking morning showers Saturday. What is our call to move to the rain date: showers, or an all-day kind of rain?

 

So far there is no word of the "Go/no go" criteria. But so far it is still a go and weather looks to be improving, a little.

 

Agreed, Brad. The latest forecast I have seen moved the rain to Friday, and Saturday will be clear if a bit cool.

 

Yeah, 36 in the morning. The wife is not going to like that. LOL!

 

I was just looking at the Modular Fords thread. Right now about 100 are signed up to go!

 

108 cars, with some people bringing their whole family, vans as chase vehicles, setting up video cameras along the route, and bikini girls serving beer outside.

Great time yesterday. About 78 Mustangs came out for the cruise. Now just looking for the toll both video.

 

It nice to meet you Brady. Wife counted total of 70 stangs and add the other cars from FFC. I wish it was a little warmer and some might have stayed longer. WE need to put out an APB for the toll booth video.. Did you follow the lead (you know what I mean) at the toll? LOL..

 

Great meeting you too, Ray. Yes, warmer would have been nice, and would have been able to hang out longer. Wife was getting chilled. I wish I could remember what car was at the tool both with the guy taking the video. I got on it a little bit. LOL!
