S-197 2005-2009 Fit Mustang Bullitt Grille Installed. PICS With Link To Purchase!

After waiting almost 2 years for an OEM style fogless, ponyless grille, thanks to Kevin (05stangkc) and Ford, of course, I FINALLY have one.

I Must Say CLEAN and MEAN! Too Bad it was So Overcast! I would Love Some Bright Shots if you get the Chance! With or Without the Pony Definetely will give an Entirely Different Look! I am Glad you are Happy with the Grille! You Certainly waited Long enough! I like the way the Stainless Gives DEPTH to the Grille!

Enjoy!

Wow Jason Congrats on finally getting exactly what you wanted. I remember the conversations we had in Birmingham about it..."if only someone made...." It looks fantastic.

Looks awesome. If it wasn't for the fact that I like the stock GT grille so much I'd be all over this one.

Looks very clean and compliments the Roush nose well. Which pony did you use? Did you document the install? Any pics?

I should've known who'd be the first few guys to post in here.
Thanks, everybody.

Dave, don't mention Birmingham. I'll start sweating just thinking about it. (but of course I'd do it all over again if I could)

As for you, Mark, Don't get me started. For anyone who doesn't know what Mark is doing to me, see his photoshop pic below. You just knew I'd have to post it again. Now the only thing stopping me is... me.

I'll let you guys in on a little secret though... I had actually been thinking about selling the Mustang ever since I got a Jeep. Gonna put that off for a little while now. I'll say this though. IF I wind up getting the stripes I can can guarantee I'll be keeping it for a while.

There wasn't much to the install since I had a CDC black billet grille in there before. (see sig for link) All I had to do was open the hood, pop it in (literally) and re-install the radiator cover. It's kind of a pain to get the stock grille out and even harder to explain, but it's only held in by about 6 tabs. If you want to see pics of the grille removed (again, see sig), I took some after I removed the CDC grille, but the CDC brackets were still attached to the mounting tabs so they're hard to see.

I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have though.

Hope you got all the pics I sent. I borrowed someone else's camera and I didn't realize how big they were. Sorry about how dark the grille looks. That's what I meant about how hard it is to take good pictures of black parts on a white car. Someone on here told me there was a way to do it but he never explained how to do it.

I was actually lucky it was overcast. Otherwise they would've been worse. The camera either has to set itself for the white or the black. If the sun would've been out the car would've been brighter or the grille even darker.

I'll lighten up some of the orginals for you if you want. Which ones do you like?

These Look Pretty Good!

The Pony in the Middle Would be Cool Also! Like a 69!

Steve Likes it!

These Are The Emblem Kits I will be offering as an Option for the Grille.
It is not the Same as Stangnuts which is a Custom Bracket & 65 Emblem I believe he said.

Are those the edited pics I just sent you? If you want the original size, let me know.

Yes, mine is a '65 emblem. It was the perfect size for the CDC grille, but I think this new grille could stand to have one just a little smaller. Having the satin trim piece makes the honeycomb part smaller so visually the '65 pony looks likes it might be too big for the grille since your eye compares it to the black area.

Kevin, isn't yours a little smaller than the '65? Hoes does it compare to the 94-04?

Speaking of modifying this grille, I won't be surprised to see people putting GT foglights in there with no OEM center pony. I know several people mentioned doing that back when we were wishing for a grille like this.

BTW, for anyone wondering, the honeycombs are the same size as the OEM GT grille. (V6 honeycombs are smaller than the GT)

However, the plastic is different. It's not as flexible.

The 05 Gt Grilles were Soft and Pliable.. In 06 up they went to a Harder Less Flexible Material on the Grilles. Easier to Snap a tab off the Later ones! What was Ford Thinking!
