So does that mean ~300 for Southern California and ~219 for Northern California? All from the total of about 2,100 '08 SGTs being built? What's the difference between NorCal and SoCal, anyway (in terms of the cars, I mean)?

 

I think Brad is confused. The Northern California version was just ordinary 2007 black and white SGTs. The Southern California version is the Grabber Orange 2008 SGTs. Actually, the 2007 SGT-California's came with the triple gage pod on top of the dash. They were also supposed to come with Shelby GT-California sill plates, but no one has seen them.

Gridley Country Ford in Gridley, CA has one sitting in their showroom. Tell them Rich sent you and they will probably discount the dealer markup by $1.98.

 

I like it, only thing I would change might be a switch black Razor wheels.

 

Are we sure that's even true? I know many dealers say that due to the CSM plaque even though it's printed on.

 

Only the Grabber Orange units from what was posted by SAI.

Do all '08 SGTs have the LCD screen in the dash? Is that just nav / sat or does it have the Sync function that Ford has been touting?

 

I think all the orange ones were ordered the same. If so then they would all have the LCD screen. Blue 08SGTs are equipped according to how the dealer ordered them.

 

 

Brad, thank you for posting my name with that pic. As you know, it was from one of my many visits out to SAI. I love the look of the GO SGT-C cars. I wish I had the money to purchase a second SGT. If I did, I'd get one of these cars.

If anyone is interested or searching, there is a Grabber Orange sitting at Pasadena Ford. I wish you luck working with that dealership though, but when they screw up (and they will) you will benefit as I did.
