Exclamation So-Calif Run up Angeles National Forrest to Newcombs Ranch

Hi I Live up in Big Tujunga Cyn and would like to host a ride up to Newcombs ranch on a Sun Morning soon. There are lots of cars and motorcycles up there and thought it would be a fun outing. We could leave from my house(plenty of parking) and its about 65-70 miles round trip.I will pick a Sun in May if we can get a group together. Hope to see old and new alike mustangs.Recently there was a 100 corvetes that came thru so I am sure we can beat that. Reply on this thread if your are interested. Thanks Canyon ED

I'm definitely interested. I love the Crest. I used to ride my sportbike through there back in the day and haven't been there in a while. Keep me posted.

You might want to mention this post in the "Ponies on the Run" thread. Most of the SoCal guys I know are avid posters in that thread. I'm sure if you let them know what your plans are and link them over to this posting you might be able to garner some added interest.

I cant find that area about ponies on the run ,Anyway Its going to be on Sunday May 23 2010 leaving about 9-930am.I hosted a 2 stroke M/C ride (Yamaha RD400s/RZ350s) from my house last year w/about 20-25 bikes and it worked out great. If you want to post for me go ahead now that there is a date and time set.I live on Big Tujunga Cyn RD in Big Tujunga Cyn.Tujunga 91042 in Angeles National Forrest where the station fire was. My house is one of the few that did not burn down.

I'll post the link to this thread for you and I'll subscribe to stay in the loop. Hopefully I can make this. I used to be part of the R6Messagenet and SoCalSportbikes forums back in the day and used to ride through there on my Yamaha R6 every Sunday morning. Love those two-strokes, they are a blast. Glad your house made it out okay.

I should be able to make this. I'll post the info on the GT-500 forums.

If you could post a map of the suggested route that would be great.

We enjoy doing things like this other than racing. We had a cruise up Azusa around Mt Baldy, alot of fun.

That's right it got restored to what it was before the crash

I have yet to see your new GT500. If you don't mind, and if we have the time, maybe you can take me for a quick spin.
