On August 19, 2004, Ford hosted the Ford Racing Innovation Drive on Belle Isle in Detroit. Ford NASCAR Nextel Cup drivers Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards of Roush Racing were on hand, as was Motorcraft Racing’s Ricky Rudd. Ford NASCAR Busch Series drivers Stacy Compton and Robert Pressley were also in attendance. Visitors were able to get autographs and drive the new Freestyle, 500, and 2005 Mustang on the road course. Forum members Amy V6 and cyoda44 drove the Mustang and took several great photos for the site.
