RK Motors Revs up for 50th Mustang Bash

Everybody loves a party – especially one celebrating an American icon as popular as the Mustang. That’s why the list of events for the car’s 50th Anniversary keeps getting bigger.

RK Motors is the latest to announce it plans to join in the festivities with plans to bring a few of its own classic Ford pony cars to the Charlotte Motor Speedway April 17 – 20, according to an Auto Evolution report.

Hoping to help spice up the party, the classic car collector company will be showcasing a 1965 Mustang Pro Touring EFI V8, a 1970 restored Mustang Boss 302 and a 2007 Mustang Eleanor GT. In addition, RK Motors will debut a specialty Mustang Pro touring car set to compete in the upcoming 2014 Hot Rod Power Tour.

Yup, like we’ve been saying – this quickly becoming one of those parties you don’t want to miss even if you don’t own a Mustang.
