Reveling in the Colors of the New Mustang in the Flesh

There’s a lot to cover from my recent test drive of the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang in L.A. as a correspondent for The Mustang Source.

A whole lot, but as I start going through my photos from the event, which took us from Mel’s Drive-In on the Sunset Strip to California’s legendary Angeles Crest Highway, I’ve been reveling in how impressive all the exterior colors look lined up.

It’s kind of like walking into a Baskin-Robbins of new Mustangs for any enthusiast or potential buyer. Deciding which one you like mostly depends on the mood you’re in more than anything considering they all have their own unique personalities.

In fact, when a Ford rep asked me which model I wanted to take out for some more driving time for photography, it took me a while to decide. The classic black with black wheels? The new color Triple Yellow with brushed-aluminum wheels? Or the new Competition Orange color with black wheels?

Not to mention the new Guard Metal with black wheels that seemed to be one of the favorites among the media and Ford execs on hand for the event. There’s also the new Magnetic Metallic (pictured above) that gives the Mustang a completely different edge.

I eventually wound up picking an Ingot Silver 5.0 with black wheels for more of an understated Hollywood appeal. Still, selecting a color became an experience worth documenting itself.

Anyway, I thought I’d share a few of the photos while wrapping up my review, even though there’s nothing like seeing all the cars in the flesh.
