The Mustang is the clear winner here. Poor deer looked fairly small and I’m guessing didn’t come out to well. Hard to say how much damage the Mustang sustained. Props to the driver for staying calm and in control. Video after the jump!

What I wouldn’t give to drive all four of these legends on a racetrack! Seriously, these lucky Gearheads got to wheel an original 1965 427 Shelby Cobra, a 2010 Viper SRT-10 Roadster, 2012 Merecedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and a 2013 Shelby GT500 around a racetrack.

At first Ford designers were still working with the large 1971 to 1973 platform. But soon they ditched idea that in favor of a small, lighter car. Road & Track put together a cool little slideshow showing the evolution that eventually led to the Mustang II we all know and (some of us) love.
