I can’t quite put my finger on it, but for some reason this video reminds me of what would happen if the TV crew from the show Cops decided to do a “Mustangs gone bad” reel, “Bad Boys” theme music and all.

Finished off in Raven Black and red GT stripes, this is perhaps one of the best-restored 1965 Mustangs I’ve ever laid eyes upon.

I won’t condone street racing, even though I might have done it a few times in high school. However, there is no denying some of these cars are ridiculously sick.

Indeed, its motor only measures a mere 5.0 liters and it doesn’t benefit from such luxuries as nitrous or forced induction, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less capable.

After driving the 2015 Mustang GT, I didn’t have an S-197 sitting around to really detect all the differences between the two cars. However, our friends at Autoweek just so happened to have both on hand to play around with. Here’s what they found.

The dragstrip is a hell of a way to enjoy a Mustang Cobra with 730 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque, but the ol’strip does have a few drawbacks … like the risk of crashing and flipping your ride.
