Mustang GT Takes on World’s Finest Through the Desert
Some automotive journalists get to have all the fun, the kind of guys who pretty much snap their fingers and immediately get a Dodge SRT Hellcat, a Lamborghini Huracan, a BMW i8, and the new Ford Mustang GT for a trip across the desert.
That’s exactly what the guys from CAR magazine did in the beautifully shot video below. They just rounded up four of the finest automobiles around and took ’em for a little cross country drive.
And me? Well, I get to write about them. I hate them.
I’ve gotta hand it to these CAR magazine guys though, they have created some high quality, pure automotive porn. It makes me want to be a better man. Or at least a richer one.
But enough about them, let’s get back to why you all are here: the cars.
In this episode, the CAR guys take an amazing road trip in four of the best sports cars from the last year. It’s two ways of thinking about the best beast for desert blasting: supercar and light versus horsepower and grunt.
The guys from CAR have clearly picked their winner, and unfortunately it’s not our beloved ‘Stang. But at least they enjoyed their ride, and took me along for it. Kind of.
