Mustang and CTS-V Wagon Burnout Like Best Buds

What an endearing odd couple. According to their heritage, the 5.0 liter Coyote powered Mustang should be at each others throats on the drag strip. Seeing them happily spinning their tires together is a little bit of an odd moment. It’s awesome, obviously, but still a little weird.

Update By Scothew – Digging in a bit, the car was pretty recognizable as our very own forum member and friend Stinger1982. You can check out the thread he posted here: Click Here for TMS Forums

The mustang is a 2011 GT with a massive list of improvements. Some of that kit includes a 2013 Shelby GT500 rear axle, Ford Racing 3.73 ring and pinion, Ford Racing springs and dampers, Hoosier R80s, the lot. I’m actually more interested in what this guy does in his Mustang than anything after browsing his parts list. All signs point to race car.

As much as I like the CTS-V though, there’s no question that I’d prefer that Mustang on a circuit. On the road though… tough question. Let us know what you think of these two in the comments.
