More than 200 Mustang owners gathered at Montrose Ford in Fairlawn, Ohio for what’s touted as the largest all-Mustang show in Northeast Ohio.

Jack Roush Jr., son of legendary Ford employee, founder and CEO of Roush Racing, was also on hand for the car show and helped honor event winners, according to a PR newswire report.

“It is my privilege to be here to support you,” Roush Jr. told attendees. “We are grateful for the efforts at Montrose on our behalf.”

Montrose Ford in Fairlawn is reportedly the nation’s second largest retailer of the Roush lineup of Ford vehicles.  The September 15, Mustang gathering marked the third consecutive year that the dealership has hosted the Northeast Ohio Mustang Club event.

“We want to thank Montrose Ford for making this event so successful,” said John Wanacheck, President of the Northeast Ohio Mustang Club. “Without the efforts of Chris Mills, Al Morse, and John Allensworth, along with Andy Ayoup of the Copley Fire Department, we couldn’t have had this success.”

This year’s event took over much of the 5 acres on the Montrose property with the dealership revving up for an even bigger event next year.

“The passion and enthusiasm of these Mustang owners for their cars and for the Ford Mustang brand is overwhelming,” noted Chris Mills, General Manager of Montrose Ford. “To be able to host their annual event is an honor for us, and helps to generate a lot of excitement throughout our dealership.”
