Mustang Source Members Dream Garage Cars

Most garages are stuffed with the stuff we mean to put away, but haven't gotten around to. But what if instead of nick-nacks you could stuff your garage with 10 "dream" cars. One Mustang Source member posted his dream list to the forums and the resulting lists were pretty inspiring. Check it out:

1. Antigini-GT/CS: Audi R8

At the top of the list for Antigoni-GT/CS is an Audi R8; specifically, one outfitted in a white body. 

Specs for the 2018 model were just released and it's easy to see why this car would be so desired with its 5.2-liter V10 putting out 610 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque.

2. 1999 Pony: Saleen S7

One of the standouts in 1999 Pony's dream garage has to be the Saleen S7.

This high-performance supercar boasts 750-horsepower and 700lb-ft of torque, and can easily hit top speeds over 200MPH.

3. 05fordgt: Koenigsegg CCXR

One of 05fordgt's most desired cars is the Koenigsegg CCXR, but with a bright blue hue with black and blue interior.

Take a look at some of these stats and you can see why this car makes the list: 

Koenigsegg aluminium V8, 4 valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts.
Power output: 1018 Bhp at 7000 rpm
Maximum torque: 1080 Nm (796 ft/lb) at 5600 rpm
Acceleration: 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h 8.75 sec. 0-200-0 km/h 13.0 sec, 0-300-0 km/h: 25.5 Sec.
Top Speed: 400+ km/h (250+ mph) (without rear wing)
Braking distance: 32m (100-0 km/h)
Lateral G-force: 1.5 G

4. bluethunderhorse: 1969 Corvette ZL1

bluethunderhorse certainly has very specific taste, as evidenced by his request for a 1969 Corvette ZL1.

What makes it so unique? Well, the fact that only two were ever made. One is owned by Jay Leno and the other is in the Smithsonian.

5. Evil Capri: Jaguar XJR-9LM

Top of the list for Evil Capri is a Jaguar XJR-9LM, but for vintage racing purposes only. 

The XJR-9 was a sports-prototype race car that Jaguar built for FIA Grou C and IMSA Camel GTP racing. The XJR-9LM was specially built for the 24 Hours of Le Mans which has special requirements for high straight line speeds on the Mulsanne Straight; the result is the XJR-9LM which has a low-drag, aerodynamic package.
