Classic Inspiration

The Mustang’s first contender in the Pony car wars came to life in 1969.  The Mach 1 was the badass little brother of the Boss 429 and came equipped with a 351-Windsor engine, a motor that could rival the 350s mounted in Camaros and Firebirds of the same year.  Later iterations of the Mach 1 allowed owners to opt up to the Boss 429’s horsepower by upgrading the powerplant to the legendary 428 Cobra Super Jet engine. The results were quite breathtaking.

Old School Speed

Ringbrothers have captured the power of those rare 428 Mach 1 models and upped the ante with modern improvements.  Ringbrothers started with a 69 Mustang and then widened the car’s body an inch over stock along with a number of changes. To add to the race car look, exterior mods of a deep chin spoiler, modified bumpers, billet taillights, and a race fuel-filled gas tank were made.

Unkle Horsepower

Ringbrothers affectionately dubbed their Mustang "Unkle" in honor of a customer whose uncle inspired a love of American muscle cars. The builders have paid tribute to previous generations of speed connoisseurs with a 700 horsepower, 8.5-liter Boss V8 under the hood.  The naturally aspirated motor breathes through Holly carbs and Flowmaster headers and Flowmaster 44 stainless steel exhaust system. You’re bound to hear this guy pulling in the garage every single night.

Gearhead

The 520 motor is linked to a transmission with a Bowler manual six-speed Tremec gearbox and a carbon-fiber driveshaft that connects to 3:55 gears in the rear.  The car’s suspension was also upgraded along with new sway bars for the front and the rear as well as a new rack and pinion steering rack.

Big Boss Blue

Big Boss Blue.  Topping off the classic muscle build is an old school paint job.  The entire car is covered in a unique paint shade dubbed, ‘Big Boss Blue.’  If you love Mustangs than you can’t miss seeing this wild horse for yourself.  Ringbrothers will display their 700-horsepower stallion at the Flowmaster/Holley booth in the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas from Friday, November 5 – Friday, November 8, 2019.
