Quite Rare

Being one of just 518 ever made, this 1968 GT500KR convertible is rare enough to make people stop and take notice. But unfortunately for anyone thinking of purchasing it, it's already been sold.

Great Engine

Propelling this beauty is a 428 ci Cobra Jet V8. This powerplant pumps out 335 horsepower and is equipped with functional ram air induction; It'll certainly get your heart pumping when you put your foot down.

Nice Ride

This car is 51 years old but that doesn't mean it has to be an unenjoyable ride. It comes equipped with power steering, meaning your forearms won't suffer on a brisk drive. It also has power brakes with discs up front.

A Thing of Beauty

This 68' GT 500KR is an absolute beauty, it's undeniable. The Highland Green paint job goes perfectly with the black convertible roof. These two dark colors give even more contrast to the white rocker stripes.

The Luxuries

You shouldn't have to suffer just because you're driving a car that's over 50 years old: with this model, you don't have to. This Mustang comes with factory air conditioning and an upgraded radio.

Safe

Driving around in a 335 horsepower convertible is unimaginable fun. But should the car flip, it could also be extremely dangerous. Luckily, this model comes with a roll bar.

Wheels

Another stand out feature on this model is it's Shelby 10-spoke aluminum wheels. These wheels have been wrapped around Goodyear Eagle GT tires and look amazing.

Police Engine

Carroll Shelby decided to use the 428 Cobra Jet engine in this model to replace the 428 unit in the GT500 Police Interceptor. He also decided to change the name adding 'KR' which stands for "King of the Road".

Interior

This model's black vinyl interior is in immaculate condition. It also features a special center console and a dual gauge pod which really set it apart.

As was mentioned, this model has already been sold to some lucky human. And, as you'd expect with a car in this condition, it comes with it's Martini report and spare tire.
