Ford today announced it will offer Lincoln vehicles for sale in China by the second half of 2014. The move is intended to help Ford tap into the lucrative Chinese luxury vehicle segment, despite the Lincoln brand’s struggles in that segment in its home market.
Ford chief Alan Mulally announced the move while in China opening Ford’s newest assembly plant. New Lincolns will begin sales in China by the second half of 2014 through an independent dealer network designed to cater to the customer’s every need.

 

The premium segment in China has a forecast to surpass the one in the U.S. by 2020. So kudos to Lincoln to pull the trigger on this

 

Sorry off topic but I dont understand why Ford can never get their doors to lineup with their dashboards. If you are going to have the styling blend from dash to door can you at least have them line up.

I have seen other manufacturers do it and yet every press photo i see of Ford or Lincoln they do not line up.

 

I just wish this car had a better looking nose.

That said, I think this car might do fairly well in China
