2010 vs 2011 Strut Bars

Are the strut bars for the 2010 and 2011 the same. In particular is the height of the bar in the middle over the engine the same height, ie has the same vertical offset?

I am looking at using the shaker scoop from a 2011 on my 2010. I know I have to make new mounting bracket for the scoop, but I am wondering if I can still use the strut bar. I talk to the folks from CDC about the change and their main concern was the engine height difference which requires the different mounting brackets.

They are totally different. 5.0 STB is much flatter and won't fit over the 4.6 manifold.

Why not just get the shaker that is made to fit the car???

I don't like the wide flaring on the 2005-2010 shaker bases. It cover also the entire engine where as the 2011-2012 just covers the intake area. I have thought about cutting off the excess flaring but I am not certain how the cutoff edging would look. Also I like the rubber surface as the shaker surrund better than the hard molded plastic.
