New side splitters

Here a couple of pics after I installed the Roush side splitters on the Shelby. I think they make the car look a bit lower. Over all I'm pretty happy with the results... I also attached a pic of my 01 Bullitt so it wouldn't get jealous

+1! That color combo is fantastic! That's the first time I've seen the Roush side splitters on a Shelby and I must say, it looks good. We sell a ton of the Roush side skirts for the reason you mentioned - it helps make the car look lower. Just never had an occasion to install them on a GT500.

Well done!

I love that Shelby, how was it drilling holes on that car? Had to make you cringe a little? Looks fantastic, can't wait to do that to my GT

Very nice ride. Not digging the hood pins, doesn't make it look clean.

As I recall there were only 2 holes to drill into the existing trim (underneath and out of sight). The rest uses push pins and fits into the OEM holes for the rocker trim...It's a very nice molding.

I don't doubt the quality of roush products at all. I'd just have to think about drilling into the Shelby at all, I'd be less **** with my GT. Also drilling into a Shelby hood had to hurt a little. I like hood pins but jap racers were giving them a bad name for a while, I'd say it's cool again for real cars to sport them? Maybe it's just me?

I'm with you Hahnsolo. I love hood pins... I really think they give it that old school look, but from what I read around the forums it's sacrilegious to put them on a mustang now LOL!

Glad to see I'm not alone anyway, I remember a time when hood pins said there was something special under the hood

You guys aren't the only ones, I'm still trying to figure out how they will look on the Steeda Q series hood I am getting.

If that's the look you want go ahead and put them on. Don't let nobody put you down... After all it is your car and the only opinion that should matter is yours. Can you imagine if we all followed the same trend every car would look the same LOL!

I bought hood pins for my 95. I never put them on because motor wasn't worthy if them. I love them!! I also hate that rocker stripes says V6 now. That was 1st on GT's. & the Tri-Bar emblem. My $.02.

BTW, your car rocks!! Love those colors together!
