What's next?

Hey all,

I have a JBA axle-back exhaust and a K&N air filter. I love my car, but I feel it needs some more kick. Any ideas where to go from here? A couple ideas I thought about was a bamachip X-Cal2 and a t-lok, but I'm not sure if I would really beinfit from the t-lok and not even sure about the tuner. There are so many things, I'm stuck.

Any suggestions?

Get a tuner. Especially since you have an automatic. Trust me it will feel like different car.

The SCT X cal II is a must and with it you`ll need the T-Lok. Why Ford doesn`t give T-Lok as standard or even optional equipment on the V6 is beyond me!

Well I'm not sure, but it sounds ok to me. How much does the T-lok cost in total with install? I wouldn't be able to do that myself.

Well, I'm going to resist telling you to get a GT. I used to hate it when people told me that about my 06 V6. Get a Cold Air Intake such as JLT or C@L from bamachips with an SCT X-2 and it will really wake the car up. You will probably want to get a t-lok as well unless you enjoy doing one-wheel burnouts! While you're in the difeerential, you might as well add a set of 3.73 gears to give you better aceleration. Do these three things and your V6 will be a lot more fun! Good luck with your mods! Doug at bamachips is a great guy to do business with BTW.

Yeah I actually already looked at the GT. Payments would be WAY too high and unaffordable.

Besides I don't mind having the V6.

I guess I'll look into both the t-lok and tuner then.
