Dual MRT's
I have just recieved my dual MRT's in the mail I am still waiting for the C&L CAI and SCT from Doug which is in the mail. Just curious what dual set up I should go with for these. I know I am in uncharted waters here. However for the money which set up is best for a weekend driver (X, Y, H) in your opinion, also what should it cost for the cross over and the left side pipe. Where is the best place to get the left side pipes? And is the dual MRT just a waste of time? If anyone knows a good shop in Reno or Sacramento please let me know, I am new in this area. Feel free to open fire.
Thanks for any help

The x corssover is 75 at ebay and the drivers side pipe goes for 100-120 at your local Ford parts dealer. I have the x and gt take offs , but after hearing MSP,s and Scrming,s cars I would have to say go with the prochamber and MRT Duals.

Absolutely awesone!!!! You are a Pioneer H60!!!! Thank you for this.
My personal opion, GT take off pipes w/H. I think the H pipe will give these babies even more of a deep muscle car sound. In fact I like Scrmings MRT so much, I am thinking when track season is over, I may get some GT take off pipes and 2 MRT's and do a project install with before and after dynos.
Thanks for this!

Right now I am leaning towards the H pipe. I am new to this so not sure exactly what I would need and the best place to get it, from a GT to make this work? How does the GT left side bolt up to a single pipe do I need an additional cat or is the join up after that? Finally how does the single pipe split into and H. are there any hangers that are needed? I know all the mounts are there so it should be easy once I have the parts. I am trying to track down the local mustang club to recommend a shop that won't rape me on the price. Stick with me it may take a few weeks due to work but I will post sound clips once everything is complete. I have a completely stock car right now so I would like to dyno it after this is done if the price is right and I can find a shop in the Reno area. Thanks for the replies I will let you know what I kind out and what direction I go. Keep the suggestions coming in.
Thanks
Thanks
You don't necessarily need to buy an h-pipe or GT left side piping. I had a good muffler shop cut my exhaust system completely off from the cats back. We have two cats by the way. They jusy ran new aluminized piping and custom bent it to fit. A pipe each coming out of each cat and running into GT mufflers at the rear. After they completed this, I had them weld in an h-pipe for me. This was really simple, just taking a piece of exhaust pipe and welding it between the dual exhaust pipes under the car. I didn't need to order any parts for this since I already had the mufflers to take to the shop. This system is exactly the same as you would find under a GT except it was made by hand. My total cost for labor was 240 dollars. Sounds great and the h-pipe really helps with the backpressure and creates a deeper tone to the exhaust. I know this as I took it for a spin before the h-pipe was fitted and it sounded very raspy. After the h-pipe went in, it had a much deeper idle and a smoother, deeper tone when driving. Hope some of this helps! Good luck with your install!

Ok, heres one:
He said the flux capacitor is on back order, so once he gets it we can finish the install. The hyper drive did arrive though.
